Didn't Activision just buy Harmonix?  Or did they just buy Red Octane?  Either way MTV+Guitar Hero= Cry

It's also rumored that GH2 for the 360 would also be getting the GH1 song list as addtional DLC over XBL.

Activision bought Red Octane for $100 million and MTV got Harmonix for $175 million.

I thought I read some where that Harmonix was working on a multi instrument game.

They had this in the rumor mill in the last issue of EGM I got.  Don't how true that makes it though.

Yeah but I want a BIGGER controller! Controller can be sponsored by Tama and Zelji. (spelling?)

I wonder if the drum controller would look like that drumming "pad" set from back in the early 90's. I don't remember who made it, though.

It was a 4 pad square that held the different drumming functions.

The real tricky thing would be how to do the bass drum.

Just wire a pedal like a steering wheel would have.  Wink

played a bit of GH 2 last night. I beat Miserlou on hard. this is the first song that I actually used practice mode on. it did help too. I played through a few of the tricky part a few times then went back and beat it on my next try.

For some reason I didn't go to sleep last night, so I played a little Guitar Hero last night.  Despite my lack of sleep, I actually managed to get 5 stars on a couple songs that I thought would take me a while, both on hard:

Laid To Rest
Hangar 18

I was on fire on Hangar 18.  I had 100% going all the way through the second verse of the song.
