It is with great sadness I share with all of you that Mike “Lord Nepenthean” Collins' life was tragically cut short. Mike was one of the founding members of RF Generation and also its webmaster.

Following is a quote from Mike posted on the staff page:

“This web site is my baby, and the fact that I can combine it with video games is truly a (small) dream come true.”

All staff members, including myself, will continue to work on this site as we always have. We think keeping this site active is one of the best tributes we can do for Mike.

With everyone's help, we will adopt the baby he left behind and help his dream flourish.

All the details we have as of now are in the obituary...
Maybe Eddie will know more about it.

It is terrible news.
It truely is a great loss to all those who have known him and all those who may have in the future.

Maybe his Mom checking the site or possibly Eddie (storm) using his profile?

I saw Mike's user profile online this morning. I allready had known about the tragedy however  Cry

May he rest in peace.

My condolences to his close "real life" friends and family as well. As it has been suggested in another discussion. This web site was Mike's "baby" I say we adopt.........

Such a young bright individual with so much to offer. I knew Mike only through this site and many conversations about it, but he will be missed by me.

I know this wont help now, but know this..... Time can and does heal, but never forget!

I wont forget you Mike.

OMG! Sad

My condolences as well. He always had excellent insight and perspectives on our hobby. It was always a pleasure to read his posts.

Very tragic. He will be missed.

My God....I have no idea what to say.  Mike was certainly one of my favorites in the gaming community.  He will surely be missed.  I'll say a prayer for him at Mass tomorrow.

Damn this sucks....I will help anyone and everyone in the best of my abilities (which ain't much) to help with this site in Mike's memory...just ask and I'll do my best.

Thank you very much. The best thing you can do it continue to add info/scans, point out errors in the database and keeping posting about missing games.
