Ok so i just saw an ad for Final Destination 3 and it reminds me of the Goosebumps book Say Chese and Die.

People see pictures of themselves and it shows them how they die.
In Say Chese and Die if you took a picture with some camera it would show you that person dying.
I liked the first Final Destination.
And i haven't seen the second one because i refuse to watch a movie edited on TV.

Anyone else like this "series" thus far?

I think it's an interesting idea, but the way it's presented is way too teenage-slasher-y for me.  You can tell the whole thing is just an excuse for gore.

i have the first (2) on dvd and like them both. they were well done and i can't wait to see the 3rd one.

i haven't read any of the goosebump books so i wouldn't be able to tell any similarites, sorry.

as for watching edited movies on tv......i too hate this. thats what i thought the rated r was for. all they need to do is just show the rating at the beginning of the show/movie to warn families of upcoming content that may offend them. if you get a chance, rent the second one.

I have the firts two on dvd, i watched the first one some time ago and found rubbish. There was almost 0% story, there was a lame ending, no sign of death himself, etc.
Nope i admit i hate these movies.

The first one was pretty good.  It had some outrageous death scenes.  I still haven't seen the second one, so I don't think I'm going to watch the third one just yet.

the second was better than the first, mainly for the originality of the death scenes.  the dude getting chopped into pieces by the flying barbedwire fence, man that was classic...
why do I get the feeling the #3 will suck terribly?
oh yeay, Ali Larter is not all that and a bagga chips, her looks are far overhyped.  that is all...
