Nintendo has announced that 3 million DS users have gone online so far.  That means about 23% of all DS users have gotten on the Nintendo Wifi connection.  Hopefully the number keeps increasing.

Quote
The Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection launched November 14, reaching the 3 million user milestone in just over two months. By comparison, Microsoft's online gaming service, Xbox Live, was available for over 18 months before reaching 1 million users.

It helps when things are free.

Additionally, they did pick games that appeal to a rather large demographic. But, as a Nintendo Fanboy, good for them.

Our site apparently contains 12/3,000,000
Or to make that an appropriate fraction
12/3,000,000 = 4/1,000,000 = 2/500,000

We have two five hundred thousandths of th online DS users friend codes registered here.

Now that we are playing with fractions, is the 3 million users unique users or users per game? For example, I have gone online with both AC and MK. Does this make me 1/3x10^6 or 1/1.5x10^6? I suppose that the numbers could mean either term, but in the interest of making themselves look better I am going to go with the latter of the two options.
