Ok so this game started out very easy for me.
The first 60ish percent was a breeze. Most of the time 2-5 mins on a puzzle rarely 8-10.
I figured i would finish it up today and return it.
Nope.
The difficulty has seemed to skyrocket.
Some take me a minute or 2 but some are taking far longer.
I noticed too that sometimes the color change when retrying a level can make finding a pattern easier.
Anyone else played thru the game this far?
Also i noticed that if you turn on the hints they seem to be pretty useless. :-/

This game has been going for pretty cheap on eBay lately and I've been wondering if I should pick it up - I'm talking sub $10 range. Do you recommend it?

Well i highly recommend it assuming the price is right.(Which it sounds like it is.)
I had posted elsewhere that i picked it up for 30$ and IMO it is NOT worth that.
But then i went to TRU and picked it up for 10(which it is DEFINITELY worth) and returned my 30$ and bought Advance Wars: Dual Strike with the credit
So you should be able to get a new copy in the 10-15$ range.
If so get it.
