I read it was pretty succesful in Germany, at least when compared to pretty much everywhere else. Is there any truth in this?

Duno, perhaps.
I heard, it was pretty successfull in China and India and Nokia will keep up production for those aeas even after the official death of the system.
However, considering that N-Gage has a good support by both Nokia and 3rd party here, I'd assume you're right.

But after all, 2 mio. sold systems is not a bad result for a mobile phone (indeed it's quite good), but it's miserable for a handheld gaming device.

I haven't seen one in stores for ages. I was going to get one, maybe I still will if I can find one cheap.

One Gamestop near me still has a ton of N-Gage games up for sale at half off.  If I can find an N-Gage for under $100 anywhere, I would love to go nuts buying them all up.......after the holidays of course.

Better get the good/new ones before they're gone. They're hard to find.

I dont understand all this stuff with unlocking or whatever...

I want an n gage to play games, and most likely games only (unless you can choose your own phone service for the thing) so whats all this stuff with unlocking and all? I dont understand it. I have read about some problems with people buying theirs on ebay because of that stuff.

I don't know anything about mobile phones, but I couldn't use mine untill I put a telephone company card in it. Pre-paid in my case.

Rifts isn't out yet and I hope it is released.

I talked to a guy at Rogers yesterday and he said they are still selling N-Gages but not nearly as many as they did a few months ago. They're going for $125 CAD.

Ummmm Rifts is out BTW.
http://n-gage.letstalk.co....htm?depId=1&pgId=154

25$ USD
Not that crazy CAN you use now. Wink

All of the other N-Gage Games still look like they are slated for release too.
None have been canceled yet.

EDIT
Just remembered we need to take care of Snakes.
Because that was never released.
That was a dload.
And i already edited 2 of the 3 Snakes entries there where, Laurel
