I know it was SpectraVision inside the U.S. who made some 2600 games but all i know about SpectraVideo is it was the same company and they used that name for releases outside the U.S..

I ask beacuse i have a copy of Moon Patrol for the 2600 made by SpectraVideo.

Can anyone help me out?

It has the exact same info as the one in the database already (http://www.rfgeneration.c...l?ID=U-005-S-03230-A)with the exception of saying SpectraVideo instead.

So far I have found that all the StectraVision games that I have
tested are in NTSC format and most of the SpectraVideo games
are in PAL, I say most since I have also found SOME games with
the SpectraVideo name (from Canada?) are NTSC.

I should add this information is only a personnel observation and
only based on my own testing

Thanks for the info.
I figured you, bum-man or atari_wizard might be able to shed some light on the subject.

sorry, this is the first i've seen this post. i always hit the new posts buttons and it only shows the last ten topics. i very rarely go digging up older topics.

i will try my best to answer this......

as said earlier, yes these two are the same company. spectravision changed their name to spectravideo during the year 1983, for what? i have no idea, maybe to sound more like a game company. there are spectravideo released ntsc carts as well. now, i am not going to knock anyone's theory as of yet.....maybe every pal spectra(____) title was made after 1983, so the name is always video. great topic by the way.

also, is there anyway to get an extra button on the message board, that will allow you to see all new posts? or is this something that would cause to much work, considering its late in the game.
