I have a question about Cd-i games.  Did Cd-i games actually come in a box or just the jewel case for the game?  I have a couple games with the manual, disc, and jewel case but I'm not sure if that is complete or not.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have never seen any in anything other than a jewel case.

then you guys haven't consulted our image gallery.

the CD-i games that came in jewel cases had a box slip cover over them.

some came in larger plastic cases:

these also had box slip covers

I have several that are just in jewel cases. I'm assuming these also had the box slips at one time. don't know for sure though. I've not seen any other package variations.

Ah that is correct.
I should have remembered Mario Hotel.

I didn't know that they came in bigger boxes like Escape from Cyber City though.

I think Mad Dog McCree also came inside the cardboard light gun box?  Not 100% sure though.

In Europe we had normal cd-cases with a cd-i logo on the side and bigger version jewelcase. Some of the normal jewelcase release had a cardsleeve.

Interesting. So I suppose it's possible some of the games I have that are jewel case only may have come in larger boxes as well.

Definately makes it tough to spot CD-i games in the wild with all the package variants.
