I just saw where a flintstones 2 box sold for over 100.00 dollars..I like collecting just as much as anyone else but I also like to eat..wonder why the sudden run on flintstone 2 CARTS latley it isnt like there isnt at least one or two on ebay every time im looking through ebay..I actually look for the ecomony to take a very big hit due to the hurricane .it wont happen right away but its going to happen..And I hope were all smart enough to look ahead and relize that savings might be real important in the coming days..me included except for a few nes accesories my video game spending is going into hibernation.Wonder how good a mario cart tastes between two slices of bread Wink

I'd say just the one guy that bought it for a 100 bucks has gone mad. And maybe the guy that helped him bid up to it (if it wasn an auction).

Ever see boxes of DK jr math or whatever? Yeah I believe someone bought a box for $500, and someone recently listed for $800.

Yeah, a box was bid up to a little over 800$, not sure if the buyer paid, though.  The bid history showed that one person put in a maximum bid of 800 some odd number at the very last seconds of the auction, and another bidder put a max bid of even more at the very same last seconds.  More of an accidental "let's punch in some numbers to be the winner" event, if you ask me...would be funny if the winning bidder did pay up though.  The box with BIN 800 didn't sell either if I'm not mistaken, so I don't think the value of the box has increased much.
