EZ Racer has agreed to take on Tecmo NBA Basketball for me. I got about 30 games deep but between work and 2 kids in sports, I'm just squeezed for time.
Maybe I'll try to pick up another game.

I forgot to pick my next title. With The Adventures of Bayou Billy done, the next game I’m working on is Side Pocket.

Awww yeah! Another awesome video guys!! I can't believe how long that Zelda bit went on at the start, was hilarious! @Disposed Hero - that Zelda dungeon you did might be my favorite version of it that I've heard. Really great stuff as usual!
@Mr_Stubbes - Wicked job on Bayou Billy! Really awesome to see two very challenging titles taken down in a single week.
I'm starting on Dragon Power right now!

Thanks, glad you like it! Yeah, I listened to a few other covers of the dungeon theme and was surprised that nobody else took the slower doom metal approach. Seemed kind of obvious to me.

Just beat Dragon Power. It's got a ton of dialogue and none of it is done well, lol. There were some pretty hilarious mistranslations that made it fun to read. The game is all over the place in difficulty. Third stage was the hardest in the game I felt. There is a continue function, but once you get near the end and use the 7 dragon balls for the first time you have to do all 4 final stages in one swoop without continuing. I spent like 3 hours playing the last stages and was only able to make it to the final stage once. Decided the best route would be to restart from the beginning because you get a wish from the great Dragon midway through the game and one of the wishes is for more power. That ups your maximum hit points by 100, which is pretty awesome. Downside is you lose it if you continue so I needed a run that got me to the wish and then had one chance at running through the final 4 stages without dying. Thankfully the game was much more generous than normal with health drops and I was able to do it on my first attempt with this method (2nd attempt overall) and because I had played 3 of the final 4 stages quite a lot prior to that I was able to just run through most of it and knew which spots to avoid and where the keys where. Weird game that they obviously assumed you had a bit of Dragon Ball lore under your belt before playing. If I could just change a couple things in the game I think it would be a lot better than it is.

Been playing through World Games. I got all the world records except for the Bull Riding. Can't even stay on for 8 secs yet.

I love World Games. It's probably my favorite sports compilation on the system.

And World Games is finished. I agree Crabby this game was so much fun. Its one of those games I would rent over and again.

Well done. The only event I could never get the hang of was the Sumo Wrestling. Definitely enjoy all the rest of them though.
I found myself with a little extra time tonight and was able to sneak out a win on Godzilla 2. Pretty clunky strategy game with some very cool ideas and a great theme. It's too bad that it plays so poorly, because it's got a few things going for it.

trying to make my way through Super Spy Hunter currently. Loved the first one but they really stepped up their game in this one. Definitely more of shoot em up than the first one. Pretty challenging but you do get 6 lives and continues so they give you plenty of resources. Can't seem to beat the Stage 5 Boss

It took a bit but the biggest delay was the 2.5 months I had to stop working on it to get other work with actual deadlines done. July thru mid Sept were nothing but art show and commission work.
