I’m attempting Werewolf. I’m not gonna claim it though cus it’s meant to be really difficult and I have no skill. But I’m making progress.

If I remember correctly there was a very challenging platforming area in the 4th stage. If you can get past that one part the remaining game shouldnt be as much of an issue. Good music at least!

Hehe.  Been pounding away at Gauntlet and Gauntlet II when not playing Yo-Kai Watch 2 and replaying Persona 4 Golden.  Both games are hard in their own respective ways.  Gauntlet II is just long and often confusing, while the first Gauntlet is reasonable until you get to 79, after which you can no longer use level codes.  I think I am closer to finishing part 1 than to 2, but I am still a ways off I think.

Picked up my new AV to HDMi so my capture setup is good to go once more! Since there has been a lull lately I thought I'd get us kickstarted with a super game and beat Superman tonight!

Couldn't feel less like Superman playing this game where any old thug could kill you, and you're powers are depleted so quickly they feel very useless early on. Lots of wandering around trying to find your way and some areas that they made into the game that you never even need to visit at all to beat the game. Very weird.

Also had a productive night on Prince of Persia again and was able to knock down 5 more levels. Hope to have this one done very soon as well. I was putting in my code for the 5th level and I must have put the wrong numbers in because all the sudden it loaded up the final stage in the game! Technically I figured it out myself so that should count, right? Right? Probably not so I'm plugging my way through it properly.

Where did everyone go?

Work + vacation + my own personal goal to complete one game for each system I own this year has kept me from playing more. I"ll probably get back into it soon. Playing a Virtual Boy game next, and have Saturn, Dreamcast, Wii, WiiU, and Xavix Port left to complete.

Finally beat Ghostbusters. What an absolutely awful game. Even after saving up enough money to buy the ghost alarm, the Zuul building is a nightmare. To move, you hold the direction you want to move and tap the a button. They move a pixel per button press. You have to go up some 24 stories before you get to the boss fight, and you have 4 ghosts flying around the screen that you can only avoid. Please don't ever play this.

Gremlins 2 done. This was a pretty good game until level 4, when the jumps needed to be a bit too precise. The bosses weren't really that much of a challenge. When I reached the commando boss I figured I'd try just spamming it and absorbing shots, and had no problem beating it.

@shane - Couldn't agree with you more on both games. Ghostbusters is just a mess as soon as you hit that apartment stairs area. Thanks for taking that game down for us! Gremlins is decent, glad you found some fun with it.

I beat Super Pitfall tonight..... woof. What a broken mess of a game, also littered with bad design. Lots of moments where my character fell through something, ladders would just randomly drop you (and there are a TON of ladders), key items are hidden in secret and only appear if you jump in the exact right spot, hit detection on ropes is crazy hard to nail (which means lots of falls and retrying), had some enemies randomly spawn or despawn. It was pretty bad in every way. Glad to be done with it.

Also played around a bit with Rock n Ball tonight as well and was able to beat the CPU in the 3 two player tables and the two sports games. Just have to beat the highscore on the one player mode (which is probably going to be the hardest part) and then figure out the weird gambling/pachinko game to be done with this one. Hopefully tomorrow night I can finish off both Rock n Ball and Prince of Persia, but at least one for sure.

Try pushing the top worm into the river and jumping on. Get off by the arrow. As the worm goes round grab each heart as it blocks the shooty thing.

Jump back on the worm near the end of the river. As it passes the other worm quickly shoot that and push it one block in as you go past.

Grab the 3 hearts in the middle using the worm to block the shooty thing.

Ride first worm again back to the door.
