Defender II done. Never been a big Defender fan, and this one is a little blah.

There will undoubtedly be a gap between when someone signs up for a game and when it's noted on the front page, so the only way to make sure you're not picking a game someone else has is to go through all of the posts looking for the game you picked. With a sheet, we can each just put our name next to the one we're about to play so people know immediately when it's claimed.

I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes with suggesting that. We can continue on with this format. And I'll stick to one game at a time. I was mostly picking games I figured no one else would want to take on to get them out of the way.

I'll do Where's Waldo? right now, then pick a new one when I'm done.

No toes stepped on. Only problem I see with your google sheet idea is that if everyone is able to put their names down we don't have anyone moderating the list in case someone wants to mess with it or claim multiples titles. Is there a solution to that?

@Disposed Hero - Little Mermaid I found really bland and easy to the point of silliness. Definitely not one of my favorites.

@Duke.Togo - I've never understood why Defender was ever popular either. Maybe check out Resogun if you ever have the chance. It's a lot of fun and the best version of "Defender" I've ever come across.

Monster Party completed. Good game! Could have been better but the personality shines through.

I think a solution to that would take a while to develop. That or we'd have to pages in the sheets file, and one is only editable by the moderators. You'd sign up for a game in one and provide the proof you beat it here, then the moderators would mark it in the read only sheet as completed.

Beat Wizards & Warriors III. Just as hard as I remember.

Silver Surfer

I know that the music is amazing in this game, but I always forget how amazing.

Shortest game in the NES library done (Marble Madness). But very worthwhile. I had forgotten how tough the Ultimate level (level 6) is, and it kicked my butt a few times before I got through the final '6section.

Just started chapter 3 of Dragon Warrior 4 as well.

One more note, forgot to mention when I beat Al Unser Jr Turbo Racing: While it's a pretty average game, there is one thing that stands out- Background Music C is a hidden gem of NES music. It's not quite on the level of Silver Surfer's Level 1, or Ducktales Moon theme, but think about it being on whatever group you would put below those.

I made it to Lake Cheef in Willow and was able to free Madmartigan (Val Kilmer). I absolutely love this game! Its quickly becoming one of my favorite NES games I have ever played.

@banana, I watched some Willow Arcade videos. That game looks awesome also. Why didn't my arcade get this one, I would've sunk my whole allowance into that machine.

California Games have been completed! The hacky sack was alright, and frisbee was fun but I couldn't figure out the half pipe.

Clash at Demonhead is in the bag.   A little tip for anyone who wants to finish this excellent game - The last task in Clash is completely random, meaning you getting the good ending is entirely random.  After you beat the final boss, make sure to generate a password, so that you can try again.

Zelda II looks open, and I've never got to the ending on my own before.  Also, FFIX beckons...

Started up with Willow. This game is awesome. I wish I knew about this game when I was a kid.

Willow is awesome!  I loved this game when I was a kid.  I would have picked to do this game but I wanted to play some games I haven't tried before.

Currently in the middle of Super Team Games. Had to set up original hardware, so I'm recording videos of each of the four events. My calves are burning.
