After seeing a post about an entry getting deleted, I started thinking.  What happens when something that you have added to your collection gets deleted, merged, or changed in some way that makes it an invalid entry in your collection?  Is there a way to send a message to your account when something is changed like this?  I use Discogs to track my music collection and there are settings on there to notify you if an entry in your collection is modified in some way and what the modification was.  Just an idea.

I like this idea. I remember being confused when one of the NES games in my collection was suddenly a French version.

Agreed.  There have been a few times where I've corrected a DB entry in a way that involved splitting it into multiple variations, and hoping I haven't screwed over other users.
