I couldn't stand that Mario movie.  The only video game based movie that i thought was worse was Double Dragon.  I actually had to sacrifice several small animals after watching Double Dragon just to keep it's evil spirit from enveloping the world.

I did however like Resident Evil (I actually went to the theater twice for this one) but I still haven't seen the second one.  I'll have to buy that sometime soon.

I thought Final Fantasy was pretty good.  I didn't like the ending that much though.  I can't pinpoint any one reason for not liking it, I guess it just didn't "feel" like that was the best ending for it.

I thought both Mortal Kombats were OK.  I thought it was absolutley f-ing stupid how Raiden came out with short hair in the second one.  Like a haircut was all he needed to beat the rules of death.

Although it wasn't based on a video game per se, I liked The Wizard.  It was very cheesy though.

By the way, I never want to see Street Fighter:  The Movie brought up on these boards again.  There was no reason for that movie to be made that badly.  At all.
