I just got to hell and wow I am dying a lot, that level was everyone one when they got to floor 13?  I just made it to level 21.  Also the saving time on the ps1 is almost unbearable.  I installed it on my win 98 system and it was nice and quick, now if only u could move the save

I had some more time to dive into the game and I think I'm on floor 6 and at level 15 with my mage.  I probably won't have time to finish it before the end of the month but I'm really enjoying it.  The worm fight in the basement is what hooked me. It was so creepy in there!  Oh, and I finally did take that King down.

Worm fight? Hmmm, I don't recall that. Was it part of a quest?

That sound more like Diablo 3 lol I don't know any basement in the first game.

Welp, I installed a mod called Belzebub to get the game to run better (1080p, widescreen, etc), and it turns out I got some extra content too.  I usually like to play the vanilla version of a game the first time I play it so I can experience what everyone else did.  But this game was really dark and it was hard for this old man to see anything.  Plus, I couldn't pass up the bonus of having your character move faster in town.

Here's a video of someone playing it if you want to check it out.

Anyway, it was really fun and easy to install.  I can recommend it if you need more Diablo 1.  Sorry for the confusion.

Hmmm. That's interesting.  Looks like the mod moves Wirt much closer to town as well. Thanks for sharing Buried!

I seen that, but I decided to play it on ps1, after I started I noticed the pc one runs better.  Buy I was only going to use a trainer to make if brighter. But the mod looks nice

Pulling a few mobs out of those groups at a time is key

Here's something interesting I just came across.  Apparently a prototype of Diablo was made for the GameBoy!
