For anybody missing it, the Nintendo Switch presentation just finished. There's a lot of nice things I'm seeing!

Since I started late I'm jumping around, and will be looking more tomorrow. Here's some highlights for new games I've seen so far.

Super Mario Odyssey
Splatoon 2
Dragon Quest XI
New Shin Megami Tensei main series game.
Arms - Punch Out meets Rock em Sock em Robots

Breath of the Wild is confirmed as a launch title.

As far as the presentation goes some of the angles for the presentation were odd and coupled with stoic Japanese businessmen gave off a creepy vibe.

Super Mario Odyssey looks great (Bowser in a tuxedo!)
Splatoon 2 - Why didn't they call is Splatwoon?
Shin Megami
Zelda

The return of Travis Touchdown looks to be good. I enjoyed the No More Heroes games on the WII.

I might have to pick one up this year as it would be great to move about the house and for traveling.

Stoic Japanese businessmen presenting in an animated fashion, with a deadpan English translator.

First of all... NINTENDO ABANDONS REGION LOCKING!!! I cannot express how happy that makes me.  It had been rumoured beforehand, but I didn't believe they would ever do it.

Games I am interested in
Shin Megami Tensei - okay, so it's a generic trailer of a game barely in development, but MegaTen!!!!
Super Mario Odyssey - I don't like hat eyes and the mix of realistic and cartoon-y, but I welcome a new exploration-based Mario game.
Zelda.

Dragon Quest Heroes I & II bundle
Dragon Quest XI
Yooka_Laylee
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition
and The Binding of Issac: Afterbirth+

Lots of stuff for me to be happy about on this one coming:

No More Heroes sequel
Octopath Traveller
Ultra Street Fighter II
Dragon Quest XI

I'm not going to go through extraordinary lengths to get one, as I'll be playing Zelda on Wii U, but I'd lack to grab one sooner rather than later.

Where was this game?

This looks like a great title for the Switch. It's no Saturn Bomberman but still....

If you were wondering what the hell Suda said:
https://gamerant.com/nint...oes-travis-touchdown-825/

Seems like it was only 75% the translators fault. Suda seems to have a pretty erratic speech process.
Worth noting after the conference there was an opening for JP to ENG translator at Nintendo.

Live translators are interpreters, and that job listing has been up for months.
