Cosmic Conflict! Variant for Magnavox Odyssey 2

Any Magnavox Odyssey 2 experts here?  I was going through my Odyssey 2 games and found that I have a variant of Cosmic Conflict!  One's part number is AC9411 and say 1978 N.A.P. Consumer Electronics Corp. while the other's part number is AJ9411 and says 1978 Magnavox Consumer Electronics Company.  Any info on this?  It looks like we only have one in our database.

Many of the games have variants. I had been collecting images from my own collection as well as ebay and such.  At the moment I can't get to the pic's as they are on another PC. I'll try and show what I have this weekend maybe?

As far as I could find, no where on the internet shows the variant carts. A few places make mention of them but no real details, at least not picture details. I think a few of the games had at least 3 versions (US). My plan was to go through and re-do the O2 part of the database at some point. It would actually be a good console to try something different on if we wanted, since I actually own all the games and a fair amount of the variations.

There are a few that were re-published. Speedway is an example there, where Magnavox published it initially and Philips (N.A.P. , North American Philips) republished it later.
The boxes are slightly different, as Magnavox's name was removed. The Part # is on the back of the box, as you've seen.

That's interesting.  I did a search online but I couldn't find any info that was helpful.  Did/does Philips own Magnavox?

I believe they had a merger awhile back not sure if it still exists. I don't think the merger existed when the Odyssey came out. It was much later. I want to say 90s
