15 million users dropped out, after a month.

I'm sure lots of new apps have similar fates.  The number is seemingly big, but I bet it's similar to what a lot of apps lose percentage wise after a month.  Still, I see it continuing to lose users, but everyone I know in my area who was playing it, still is.  They will certainly have to implement more updates and additions to the game.

Speaking of implementations, did any one notice the new "Appraise" feature. This tells me that head-to-head battles are probably around the corner. May just be wishful thinking though.

I noticed the new Appraise feature yesterday and got excited, only to be disappointed by the news that all of my Pokémon suck.

Noticed the appraise feature right away. Don't think it adds much.

It eliminates having to go to a website to see how good your pokemon are, although some websites (silph road in particular) gives a more accurate reading.

Long story short, if you hatch a pokemon from an egg, it'll be awesome. If you catch it in the wild it is likely to be average...maybe even below average.

I don't know if this is breaking news, but I've just figured out you can spin your pokeball before throwing it (you'll see sparks and stars) to get a curveball every time. When you throw it, the physics are similar to spinning a ball in bowling (not that I can do that).

Yea spinning before throwing is easier than trying to perform the hookshot all on its own.

Sometimes you can get it to curve up to down rather than side to middle but i never got it to happen reliably.

Also the rumor that a curveball is an autocatch is rubbish.

I don't think anything is an autocatch. Not even a Razzberry + Ultra Ball + Green Ring + Excellent throw is 100%, although I think the latter factors help a little.

Pokemon Go will be updating again soon.

Features to look for are - Friends Lists, Leaderboards, Trading (later in the year), Events, PvP, an update to PokeStops, and Pokemon Centers (players will be able to transform PokeStops into PokeCenters where you Pokemon can heal and perform other unannounced actions.

I don't care what that Bloomberg article says, the numbers are misleading anyway. Here's what matters - Pokemon Go will be the highest grossing game of the year.

Cue everyone who doesn't have a Gyarados assigning a Magikarp as their buddy and walking all over the place to get that sweet Magikarp candy.

My wife and I play everyday.  Sometimes it's only catch a few and spin a stop, but we still play.
