Burnout 3
«

I used to play the hell out of Burnout 3 single player (or home split screen) about 9 months ago before I had Live.
My favorite game type was road rage (at least I believe it was called that) where you would compete with a buddy to see who could knock out 10 cars the fastest without completely wrecking your car.
I tried it on Live the other tnight and the Road Rage has nothing to do with that.
Does anyone know if they simply left my favorite game type out for Live?

I have it for PS2. can't say that I've tried it yet. I just picked it up a couple weeks ago.

I gave this game a quick whirl yesterday. Pretty cool from what I played. The Road Rage event is fun. The object is to wreck as many of the other cars as possible. How can that not be funs. The Crash event is interesting too. The object is to cause as much monetary damage as possible. The Crashbreaker that allows you to blow up your car is pretty cool and i like having the ability to steer your vehicle once it's air born in a wreck.
I've only unlocked a pickup and 2 compacts so far and have yet to try Burnout World Tour. From what I've played so far this looks to be a very good game.

I was going to play it on live, but it turns out my copy has vanished. I hope my kids just misplaced it.

I tried it on live an got my ass handed to me. I've been going through the campaign, though, and it's definitely a fun and addictive game.

I haven't tried the campaign yet. I've jus been doing the single events and unlocking a few cars. I've unlocked 2 pickup trucks but don't see where I can use them. the 2 compacts and 2 muscle cars I've unlocked are available in single events.
this morning I used the Mustang muscle car I unlocked and racked up 30 takedowns in Road Rage. that probably sucks but it's the highest I've got so far.

I started the Burnout World Tour this morning. I won my first Grand rix race and my first Face-Off on the second try. The Face-Off's are when you race one other car and claim that car if you win the race.
One thing I am finding very annoying with this game is it appears there is no way to skip the training videos at the start of each event. Curse the game developers who don't give you the option to skip cut-scenes. Grrrrr!

Yeah. It's the same thing on the Xbox version. Fortunately, it's only one time per session.
The World Tour is definitely a lot of addictive racing fun. And the difficulty level has been ramping up rather smoothly (I'm only about 20% unlocked, though).

No. Only head-to-head. But 4P would've been awesome!
You can play up to 6 players on xbox live, though.

too bad, Road Rage would have been a blast split screen.

I love B.O. 3 but I'm frustrated. In order to really enjoy live you have to have the tracks and cars unlocked. I already did this one on another XBOX so it feels like work to do it again.

Get a memory card and transfer the saves.
