@GrayGhost: I detect a note of derision, but I'll accept it as friendly ribbing. I'm an unabashed fan.

@Addicted: DS certainly is not a series for everyone, but the next one is looking very nice.

Fallout is a tough one. There are parts of the game that I really like, but the story just didn't come together for me. New Vegas got some great DLC, so perhaps we'll get some nice content.

Thanks for the codes! There will be more giveaways coming up, so get those questions prepped.

I'm not even halfway through but I'm loving it so far.  Goldeneye is a GREAT pick.  I loved that game as a kid.  The Facility cheat is by far the hardest cheat to get and one I never have gotten.  In order to get it the Dr. needs to be in the correct room, right?

@ Bil: Are you using different equipment?  You sound "off", maybe "tinny" when I listen to this podcast.

@Crabby: When you were checking out that second Stadium Events you said you opened it up.  What exactly were you looking for to determine if it was a fake or not?

@Shaggy: I'm not trying to speak for Crabby here but he was probably comparing it to the scans at:

Stephen Kick: “The thing about classic games was that they were the first for an entire generation. Successive works are going to be important to individuals and even to groups, but never to a whole generation in the same way.”

Goldeneye was just a great experience again. Really surprised how much I missed that game. Kinda got a hankering for Star Wars: Rogue Squadron too, so I'm hoping that hits the spot the same way Goldeneye did.

And Addicted is correct. I was checking out the board on the game to make sure it wasn't a reproduction. Making sure the board has the Nintendo stamp, chips all have the correct serial numbers/dates on them and there is no general funny business.

Another game I would enjoy to play again is Shadows of the Empire.  At the time that was a pretty bitchin' N64 game.  I wonder if it still is?

I cracked up during the Borderlands 2 segment because Crabby was silent during almost the whole segment. laugh

@Crabby What was the name of the Mario Maker app?

Thanks, Crabby.  I'm currently playing Shovel Knight and it is an awesome game!  I'm at the end guy and it's been about 5 hours.  It currently runs for $25 physical and if you look hard even you can catch it for $20.  I got for $20 off of Amazon.  Check Amazon daily and you will find it for $20.  On the Wii U version you can play off TV and you can switch your relics and see which upgrades and Music Sheets you have on the gamepad.  As for the Amiibo, you level up the Amiibo and earn relics with each level up.  There are more slots than relics so I'm guessing that other non-normal game items can be received.  Also there are supposed to be challenges but I haven't gotten into it that far.  Get this game!
