Congrats shaggy!

Flea Market finds. Got a couple of uncommon 2600 shooters and some Donkey Kong cards with some gum that's older than me in it.

Awesome Shaggy!

Toy show pickups from yesterday. Got #425-428 for the Genesis set along with a random bootleg game. Knocked 1 more off my Battle Beasts list (4 left for series 1-3). The 4 ToyFare TPBs were a fun find also.

Ah, Twisted Toyfare Theater, the comic series that inspired Robot Chicken. A most sardonic compendium of late-90s to early-aughts geek humor. TTT helped me stay somewhat sane during my days as a comic-shop till jockey.

BTW are those ChoroQ / Penny Racers next to red Hulk? If so, I haven't seen those in decades. Well, except for the virtual versions in the ChoroQ and Seek and Destroy PS2 games. Personally, I prefer the Micro Machines games, but that's me.

LOVED ToyFare as a kid (along with all the other Wizard mags) so I had to pick those up.

Yep!  Specifically, they are Tonka Turbo Tricksters which were just re-branded ChoroQ / Penny Racers.  They are such great little toys and I love picking them up with I find them cheap.

Mostly finds from a Flea Market Saturday. #429 for the Genesis set. Got a good deal on all the TFs. Also got a whole bag of what looks like mostly Joe parts but there was some other stuff in there I was interested in. Comics came from a small Comic Con Sunday which was mostly a bust.

Hey now!

Wait 'til y'all see what Nupoile got me for my b-day:

Oh, the suspense...

Aaaaaaannndddd....

Are y'all excited over this goldmine of goobery goodness?

Speakin' of nuttiness, I can't forget about these bad boys:

Then there's the annual U.S. Mint proof & uncirculated sets:

I usually get these every Christmas, but they were out of stock, so I hadda wait a couple more months.

Oh, I also got come government Grants:

Finally, I was able to track down some peppermint bubble gum! YAY ME!

You see, what I like to do is blow a big bubble, then breathe the air back in before it pops, giving my lungs a cool minty feeling. I imagine it's similar to what menthol smokers experience.

ANYway, that's it for now.
