Thanks to GrayGhost81 for this one.  Smiley
I hope I can craft a blog entry from this game.

Just in case anyone was wondering you can power a GameGear with a Genesis 2 power supply.

Better than using the batteries in the corner of your picture Wink

@GrayGhost81: Thanks again!

@techwizard: Very true.  Smiley It seems everything else wants those batteries. All of the rechargeable batteries for my 360 controllers have died due to old age and now require batteries, along with my PS2 controllers and OG Xbox controllers etc...

I have three battery rechargers just to keep up...  THE facepalm

I saw this at GameStop on clearance for 19.99, but the guy told me the price was incorrect...it was actually 14.99! Dang right I grabbed it! Brand new.

I'm sure we are soon going to be swamped with pictures of Nintendo Switches and Zelda games so I thought I'd get this in before all that happiness....

EVGA Geforce 4000 and Soundbaster Live! cards in the box from my favorite thrift. Not sure if I'll be able to use the graphics card as it has a puffy capacitor but neat things to add to my collection of old PCs. Soundbaster even had the original receipt in there. It was bought in 2004 for $30. The two cards together cost me about $8.50

Nintendogs is for my nephew, he really wants the newest one but that is like many dollars and this was just 5. I'll keep looking for the one he wants but this should hold him over.

I forgot to take a picture with A Link Between Worlds which I got from ebay, which would fit right in with this other stuff....

A fantastic friend of mine got me a custom made candle from Etsy for my birthday. He had to tell them what to engrave on it and what color to make it, so it's pretty special to me. He also got me the thing it's resting on....

Haha! This is fantastic!

Couldn't figure out a good way to photograph it so my wife said she'd model it, what do you think?

Hey now,

I recently did a little sale/trade with MetalFRO the Game Boy Guru. If you wanna see what I sent him, give this a look:

SPOILER ALERT: I sent him an extra copy of Silent Service I had lying around. Congratulations, 'Fro, you're one of the cool kids now.

ANYway, my stuff came in a few days back...

All right, let's open this bad boy up and see what's inside:

- CIB Black for PS2: I had an extra XBox version, and 'Fro had an extra PS2 version.

- CIB Sudeki for XBox: Hmmm, this one was rated "5 out of 5 stars" by Maxim magazine...

...and I can't imagine why.

Okay, I can think of at least two reasons why, now.

Moving on:

- CIB Hitman Contracts for XBox

- CIB Hitman 2 for PS2

- Sealed Runbow Deluxe Edition and Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams Director's Cut for Wii U: I became interested in these titles when 'Fro talked about them in a previous pickups video. I asked him to grab me one of each on his next trip to Wally World, and he was more than happy to oblige.

- CIB Madden ii for PSP

- Box for Japanese Dragon Quest V DS game

- Japanese Final Fantasy IV DS game card

- Turn & Burn: F-14 Dogfight Simulator Game Boy cart

- Alpha Mission, Commando, and Elevator Action NES carts

Aaaaand that's all she wrote... for now.

@nupoile: Nice throw/blanket and candle! You can use them to keep warm as you stand in line for a switch.  Wink

It's not a Switch, but they'll still be able to help me in Breath of the Wild. Smiley

In an effort to start cleaning up and organizing the game room I've bought a couple totes from IKEA. They seem to hold PS3 (48 games per tote) games nicely but might pose a problem for DVD cases. They should work fine for loose carts in box protectors. The totes themselves will fit in to Kallax style (cube) shelves and a spreadsheet will have a list of what games are in each tote. That should make it easy to find any game.

I don't know how I forgot to share this but I grabbed a Switch and Zelda.  I didn't have Zelda preordered and they actually had a few of the special editions left when I got up to the register at my walmart.  I was so happy!

Hello,

I too did the Nintendo Switch thing, but there we all know what it looks like by now so I wont do the over redundant thing of posting a picture.

of the other stuff I picked up (besides boxes to complete my loose games and my vital fluids, known as Iced Tea). I picked up the following

NPDP-GBOX (Nintendo Dolphin Debugger). Now, time to search for those NPDP cartridges that to find seem to be harder than **Joke Removed**

as for other pickups, I got a signed drawing from the master himself...
