The whole lot set me back $300, which probably isn't an amazing deal, but it's probably fair. Price Charting seems to suggest that sealed Lynx stuff isn't worth much more than complete (or even loose) stuff, which is weird. I expect they'll all end up opened eventually.

Well, I guess open 'em up and let those games breath. 😊

Hit a big score at a thrift shop and got all these Wii games for 95 cents each, all seem to be in good condition and only the Kirby games are missing the books:

Also nabbed this elsewhere because I love special editions and it seemed like a good deal:

Though the Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty, is the same one I posted before, I now, as of today, have the whole collection. Well, on PC anyway. I also got Bomberman: Act Zero. Smiley

Found Cannon Spike (US Dreamcast) at Another Castle in Edmonds, WA this weekend.
Disc is in extremely good condition.  Usually their prices match or surpass PriceCharting.com.

I'm not sure why this was so under priced.   Am I missing something?

Yesterday, I braved the heavy rains, high winds, and flooded street corners to take advantage of the Silicon Valley Goodwill chain's President's Day sale. If you're gonna be in the south S.F. bay any time soon, why not take a dip in the swimming pool right next door to the Cupertino Goodwill:

Officially certified 98.7% tetanus-free!

But rain and wind weren't the only adverse conditions I had to deal with on this day, as you will soon see.

ANYway, after 8 hours, 175+ miles, and 12 stores visited, my efforts yielded these amazing vidya hauls:

- 3 Wii-U & 1 Nin-Selects Wii case, $3.65 $2.37

- Sealed DSi Nerf Armor cover, $3.65 $2.37

- Sealed Super Mario Galaxy, $6.29 $4.09

- CIB Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, $1.99 $1.29: The RF Gen collection app came in real handy with this one, as I wasn't sure if I already had this one or MGS3: Substance. So if you have an Android phone but you haven't downloaded the RF Generation collection app... what the hell is wrong with you?! Do it RIGHT NOW. Just go do it, I'll wait...

Oh good, you're back. See, now was that so hard? All right, back to business:

- Sealed Mighty No. 9, $7.85 $5.89: Overhyped disappointment, or underrated masterpiece? Guess I'll find out for myself soon enough...

- CIB Assassin's Creed Chronicles for Vita, $5.75 $3.74

- CIB Cardinal Syn for PS1, $1.99 $1.29

Time to end this amazing road trip where it began: with a white slim PS2 set in the showcase of the very first Goodwill I hit that day.

Only problem: someone broke the key off in the lock the night before, and they didn't have a spare.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

But, thanks to my sterling reputation as a regular customer, they made sure to reserve it for me and sell it to me at the sale price after they freed it from the showcase. Earlier today, they gave me a call, and a short drive and $13.32 later...

A prime example of how building a good rep goes both ways in the retailer-customer relationship. Let that be a lesson to y'all...

I went around the usual Goodwill/Savers suspects looking for President's Day deals:

These two games were 50 cents each. I have fond memories of Nascar Racing 1 as you could drive at infinite speeds as long as you were driving backwards.

Using a coupon I was able to pick up these for a little over $4.

The Savers I like to visit had a Wii power supply for $1.50 and a stand for $1.00 so now I have three Wiis hooked up in the basement Game Room.

The same Savers had a Wii gun for $1 a 360 Wireless turntable for $3 My son had to have Burnout 3 because there is a car on the cover. It was $2.50

Disney Infinity 3.0 PS3 Starter Set $5 and Tony Hawk 2 for PSX $1.50

I was really glad I found the last two items:

A Gamecube for $5

A 30001 PS2 for $6

Been padding my Vita collection a lot lately and hunting for some of the harder to find stuff. Rich (Singlebana) grabbed Corpse Party and Dungeon Travelers 2 for me and even sent his wife out to pick up DT2 for me. Very happy about Corpse Party as I had it preordered at a suspiciously low price when it came out, but the preorder got cancelled and the price shot up. Rich was able to get it at a price even lower than the suspiciously low price I had it preordered at. The other two games are from Amazon. Ocarina was 12 bucks for a minute about a week ago.

Thanks to GrayGhost81 for this one.  Smiley
I hope I can craft a blog entry from this game.

Just in case anyone was wondering you can power a GameGear with a Genesis 2 power supply.
