Managed to grab a few things lately. Here is some of what I managed to photograph:

Recently hit up Limited Run games and their sale on Shantae:

Love the art variation

They threw in a few bonus items too:

Been sitting on this at Game Quest for awhile. Cashed out my holiday pay to take care of bills, but grabbed this too:

Lastly, Last Guardian!!!!

I bought the cases anyway for 20p each.

Hey now,

Oh wait... someone stole ALL THE DISCS, even for the football game!

Meh, those Madden games are a dime a dozen, anyway.  Tongue

ANYway, check out this awesome PlayStation 2 tote bag with game-disc storage case I picked up a little while back:

Whoah, looks like there are a couple of things in the CD case:

All right, let's pop the flap buckles, and...

Ooh, looks like there's a little something-something under there:

Hey, what's this in the zipper pocket:

'Suse me while I whip this out:

That's quite a stack of murdered trees there.

But wait, there's more:

Between this and that Intercooler I picked up a while back, I'll have the coolest XBox 360 ever... literally.

Holy crap, there's something else in there:

Took me long enough to get this. Better late than never, I guess.

Speaking of "better late than never," looks like there's one more thing in the bag. Not sure how it could even fit in there by itself, let alone alongside all the other swag...

...and the first person to correctly guess what it is will win a little something from my vidya-game junk drawer. Everyone except MetalFRO is welcome to take a shot at it. He already knows what it is... and he'd better keep it to himself if he knows what's good for him! And if you need a hint, I've already provided two of 'em among the pics above. Oh, and the bag itself is a half-hint.

Good luck...

Well 2nd and Charles still has a cart of 50 cent games outside the store so I bought a few more.  They've added Playstation games now. All these games were 50 cents except Road Rash 2 which I grabbed so I could keep my number one spot in the Community Playthru.

That's also my secret Santa package in the background in the last picture but that will be opened on Christmas.

Sweet bag! I like the Stunt Race FX Nintendo Power Magazine too.

Things have been hectic, but my sales thread has been humming along. I've used those funds to pick up a few goodies along the way.

The Game Gear and SNES games were in a large lot I purchased, and I'll keep them around. Bickman2k helped me with getting discount copies of Shovel Knight, Bayonetta 2 (not pictured), Pilotwings Resort, and Theatrhythm. Thanks!

There have been a lot of good deals on Nintendo Selects titles, so I've been grabbing a few for myself and some for my middle daughter for Christmas. It's a great time to get into Wii U. The Wii U accessories pack was $2 including shipping from Best Buy, so I figured why not. It's got a case, a Gamepad guard, and some extra styli.

The PS2 games I grabbed while getting some of the other guys some stuff from a local store. Both were pretty cheap. I've never seen Bujingai before, but it looked interesting.

Lastly, I've been wanting an Elite controller for some time. The right deal came along and I pulled the trigger. It's pretty great.

I hope everyone enjoys the holidays, and there is still time to grab something from my sale thread if you need last minute gift ideas. Wink

Hey now,

CANDY!

As in "eye candy"? Nope, it's actually quite nondescript and surprisingly devoid of any notable physical features. It can produce some stunning visuals with the help of the right interface, though.

Moving on...

Hold on, let me check:

Haven't bought anything in a little while, but I do have a couple cool new things.  "New" being a relative term on the first one.  Buddy Kris gave me the Director's Cut copy of Blade Runner.  It is awesome.  Just need to find a Criterion copy now...

This one was an impulse buy.  I've wanted an Elite controller since I first held one but the price was a bit steep for me.  Costco has it $50 off right now and I had some paypal funds so I went ahead and grabbed one.

Nice! I got myself a copy of the Director's Cut LD in the big lot of LDs I found in Denver. Haven't sat through it yet, been introducing people to it so I watched it about 5 times this year.

You really overthought the whole deal. This ain't The Da Vinci Code, son.

ANYway, I took advantage of the local Savers' 40% off sale on books, movies, music, and vidya games, and grabbed everything you see below for about $16:
