In a copy of... I think it was Halo on XBOX I found a 3.25inch diskette labeled GHOST.

It was a boot disk for windows 95, which I later used to install windows 95!

Did it look like this after you installed it?

Sadly no, it was an actual boot disc.

Getting some kind of virus on a non network connected win95 machine would almost be neat

A virus from the afterlife would be better, that's just false labeling if it's not haunted.

Unless it was a disk with the schematics to the Ghost hover-vehicle from Halo, which would have been more thematically appropriate anyway. Wink

After a looooong drought of not being able to find any NES games I was missing, I've recently added a few and am up to 671. Among the highlights:

It is perhaps worth noting that I really only collect carts. Anyone need an RC Pro-Am II manual in absurdly good shape? Smiley

All the Super Famicom games are from ebay. The ones on the bottom row are Shin Megami Tensei If and Shin Megami Tensei II.

Aegis of Earth and Jikandia are from amazon. It has been a while since I grabbed games off amazon simply because they were cheap, but that's what happened here for sure.

Picked these up from Goodwill, N64 games were $3 a piece, DC game was $1.

Hey now...

Grabbed a few things here and there during Goodwill's Fourth of July sale:

- GBA SP with Crash of the Titans cart, $7.19 $4.67

- CIB Mario Kart Wii set, $20.49 $13.32

- Sealed Prima 4-Game strategy guide, $7.11 $5.33

- GamePro magazine, $0.29

And now, the big grab of the day:

- CIB Coleco Kid Vid Voice Module for Atari 2600, $12.79 $8.31: Simply a tape recorder that plays the included cassettes while you play the game. One of the included cassettes is still sealed, and judging from their condition, neither the player or game cartridge have been used much, if at all.

UPDATE: Turns out the Kid Vid isn't CIB after all; It's missing the player-to-console connector. Sadly, judging from what an actual CIB Kid Vid goes for on eBay, I'm not likely to pick one of those up any time soon.

Fortunately, I did track down some instructions on how to make my own connector cable:

I just bought almost the whole series, at full retail, from Crabby's store. Quarantine, is still the big one. I know I paid AT LEAST $150 CAD for it.

Got a Gamestop coup in my email so I checked out the one nearest me for the first time. Spoiler alert, it's the same as every other Gametsop on the planet. Actually, the staff was pretty nice and not condescending so that's a plus I guess. Alright, enough snark, I grabbed this baby with my coupon:
