Mother 2 Vinyl

Spoiler (hover to show)
The game was released as EarthBound in the West in 1995 and it's considered one of the more memorable RPGs.
The composer actually wrote over 100 pieces of music but most of it was left out from the game.

Went into Walmart and there is a cart full of games.  They are mostly CoDBlOps 2 and CoD MW3, but I went digging anyways and found Dead Space Extraction for the Wii.  Was pretty pleased with that for $5

That reminds me... The CEX store near me has obviously had enough of all the FIFA PS3 and X360 games they have.
There's a tub of empty FIFA cases outside the store with a sign that says if you spend £10 or more in store, you can have a free FIFA game. Just take a case to the counter to claim. laugh

I spy Mortal Kombat Kollection, Uncharted Dual Pack, Epic Mickey 2 and... is that GTA V?
I wasn't expecting PS2 games in there.

Pick ups from the past week. Some were from thrifts, some were from my local video game store. Sorry for the crappy pic, didn't realize it was that bad until after posting.

Not sure if I already posted Moon Patrol but stuck it in there.

Mine certainly does, along with GH, MK, and a few others. I actually saw a PSX game the other day that they found in the warehouse in the back.

I didn't see a GTA V but there was a GTA III with Vice City and San Andreas 3 pack.

A buddy of mine who works for wal-Mart corporate said most to all stores might be doing this as what happened is most of this stock is from "Christmas past" as in Black Friday deals that they ended up with too much stock over the years and they want to liquidate it out.  But he also said they are throwing in titles for systems that are no longer sold anything old in their warehouses will go for $5 such as that rare obscurity of that Psx game shadow was talking about. So every store could have those cod games and so on or watchdogs lol but he said it will vary by store so keep an eye out I guess. I myself would love a dead space extinction on wii.

They usually are not cheap. Walmart near me still has some PS2 games and Xbox. They are all full retail with the exception of ones that had nation wide price drops (GH : AC/DC for example)

I hope my local Walmart does this soon. They have a ton of old games even in the case still.

This has been in the case since it came out, I don't think anyone has ever bought one to the point the one up front is sun faded from the case light and there's like 4 behind it. As of last week it's still that price too.

Edit: Finally got someone to check the price it's dropped but not to $5 unfortunately $24.99 boo.
