Yeah...I remember the Stadium and Auditorium. The minor league hockey team, the Lightning, were vicious. I have a signed baseball from the Braves when they used to do their Spring Training there with the Expos. Fred McGriff, Tom Glavine, and Greg Maddux autographs, on a Marlins baseball of all things.

Nice - I used to go to the Braves Spring Training too - I got to meet John Smoltz, Steve Avery, Tom Glavine, David Justice, (I met Fred McGriff in Dunedin when he was with the Blue Jays along with Tony Fernandez, Roberto Alomar, Kelly Gruber) and Bobby Cox. We got to meet them because I was on the Little League All Star Team and we got to meet all the Braves in the Spring - Play catch with them and batting practice. Ahh I miss being a kid in Florida some days (well a lot of days).

Lol, we may have been there the same day then! They were with the Little League All Star team that day and just exiting the field! I might be thinking of David Justice's autograph instead of Fred McGriff's.
I used to play over at Lake Lytal.

Hey now. Thank Eon I'm back to my old self again; I don't think I could hack a second day as The_8-Bit_Donald. It's true! It's true. You know it, and I know it.
ANYway, my latest vidya finds are controller-centric:

- Gamester Pro Racing Wheel for XBox,
$5.99
$4.19
- Super Pad 8 for Sega Saturn,
$4.99
$3.49
- Triax Turbo Touch 360 for SNES,
$5.99
$4.19
- Sealed
Nintendo Land
, $13.95
- Pink DS Lite with
Harvest Moon DS
card,
$29.99
$20.99

- QuickShot SNES Controller,
$4.99
$3.49, aaaand...

- CIB City Boy Super Joystick, $10.65: This was an interesting find-- a Taiwanese gray-market multi-platform arcade controller that's compatible with Super FC/SNES, Mega Drive/Genesis, and PC Engine / TurboGrafx 16, and Famicom... but not NES. Eh, three outta four ain't bad. And it's kinda cool that I can swap out the handle. Best of all, I got a killer deal on it:

And now, a couple things I picked up with a Tar-Jay birthday gift card:

NES Remix Pack
: I noticed that the
NES Remix Pack
had become a Nintendo Select rerelease, and the price dropped to just $19.99. I was considering getting it... when I saw on the opposite end of the shelf the original release for the same price. So I bought one of those instead.
-
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy
: While I own several of the
Ace Combat
games across many platforms, I never had one for the 3DS until now. One feature that got me curious:

Wow, this thing has amiibo support? That's strange, I don't recall seeing any F-14 amiibos on the retail racks anywhere. Needless to say, if they'd made an A-10 amiibo, I'd have been on that sh*t in a New York minute, no question. Speaking of which: I turned the case over, and saw the image that ultimately sold me:

Needless to say, I know which Nintendo character skin I'm gonna put on my A-10:

No, no, no, Wario-- I said
on
the A-10,
not
in it! Sheesh, pay attention, willya!

Pretty bare bones with just the system, all the cords, sensor bat and gamepad but I'm happy because it's the 32GB model. Side note, l looked to see how I did and people seem fond of selling these without the gamepad and shit:

I also picked up a couple games and a gamepad from GS, I have a WiiMotion plus remote for me Wii so I I didn't need one of those.

A co-worker of mine was moving and knew I collected video games so she gave me this:

That's pretty sharp. If you end up selling it at some point give me first crack at it.

That's because the gamepad's only available with the system, so for many people that have theirs break or they want an additional one, they're forced to buy a system just for the gamepad and sell the system to recoup the losses.

That honestly explains a lot.
I guess I was lucky to nab a deluxe edition one that still had a working gamepad for only $160.

Fire Emblem is pretty great. I also got Conquest as a downloadable. FE and Mind Zero are from Gamestop.
Chocobo's Dungeon 2 is from 99Gamers. That site is slowly dying. I'm going to have to find
yet another
trading site soon.

Got a few more scores in the past week. First up, is all of the retro/used stuff I got from my good ole' neighborhood, Crabmaster. Well, more specifically, his store Game Quest:

All of this stuff was grabbed from eb games, except for Project Xzone 2. That was part of my shopping at Walmart:
