Also, thanks to ReddMcKnight for hooking me up with some cables, I'm finally able to play one of the greatest systems from the mid-90s!
Glad you got them! I meant to give you a Tracking Number, but I've been a little busier than usual. Enjoy.

Never a pedal... never...
If it's any consolation, I still need an AV cable for my TI-99/4A...
I just have the RF switchbox it came with. I need to get some composite cables at some point. Still need a voice synthesizer as well.

So happy about today. Went thrifting on a whim and got shadow hearts for 5$
Ooooo! Freelancer! That game is great. You can still multiplayer that online, though it takes some work. If you want to set up a server and play, and you have all day to fiddle with settings and weirdness, I will totally play with you, I have a friend that will play too!

Nice Jag, RetroRage! I picked these up from Let Go for $15 shipped. Izret will like a quarter of my find.

I might look into that! Such a fun game, prob my favorite 4x game (possibly just cause of nostalgia)

Hey all my brother got me a little gift today - only one we could find in town period - None at 2 best buys, none at toysrus, none at target, and so on - so we went to three gamestops and the one where we live had 1 and only 1! They only had 2 shipped into them.
So happy to have this!

One of my best PC thrift finds was a complete copy of Freelancer with the guide for a little over $3 total. I'll have to play more of it.

Haven't posted in a while, but lots of good stuff has been rolling in. First, I crossed a big one off my list courtesy of Silver80, who gave me a phenomenal deal on this very complete copy of
Thousand Arms
for the PS1:

Beyond that, I definitely have gone a little nuts with import collecting lately. Since I've gotten the Retron 5, it gives me an excuse to scoop up Famicom and Super Famicom games knowing that one day I'll get off my lazy ass and put some translation patches on an SD card and try some of them out.
A lot of these are from eBay, many are from 99gamers as well.

The Super Famicom games from top to bottom, left to right are:
Fire Emblem - Seisen no Keifu, Fire Emblem - Monshou no Nazo, Dragon Quest V
Shin Megami Tensei, Majin Tensei
Magic Knight Rayearth, Ogre Battle
Albert Odyssey, Emerald Dragon
Fire Emblem - Seisen no Keifu
and
Albert Odyssey
do not have completed fan translations as of yet but I didn't mind grabbing them because they were hella cheap. I'm most excited to actually play
Magic Knight Rayearth
. Even though it looks like a pretty run of the mill JRPG, I'm a huge fan of the anime and manga and I loved the Sega Saturn game.
The two white Famicom cartridges are
Momotarou Densetsu: Peach Boy Legend
on top and
Momotarou Dentetsu
underneath it. The black carts are
Okhotsk ni Kiyu - Hokkaidou Rensa Satsujin
and
Portopia Renzoku Satsujin Jiken (Portopia Serial Murder Case)
beneath it. I got these four loose Famicom carts in one cheap eBay auction but I really just wanted
Portopia Serial Murder Case
.
The GB/GBC games are
Sanrio Timenet - Mirai Hen, Gundam Gaiden: Lacroan Heroes
, and
Sakura Taisen Wars
. To be honest, I didn't research these titles at all, I just grabbed them off 99gamers wanting to burn some credit there.
Lastly of course is a CIB copy of
Akira
for the Famicom. Here's a pic of just that:

Very fun stuff all around, and I have about five more Super Famicom games on the way, but they're coming from Japan so it may take a little while for them to get here.

3 weeks after the fact, here's the stuff I got for Christmas:

My kid is already playing with the Inside Out toys, hence the empty packaging.

Look at all the quality games here. I wasn't even aware of the existence of FFIV Complete until recently and being that the original is one of my favorite games ever, I was stoked to get it. The game in the generic Gamestop case is Twilight Princess for the Gamecube

Finally one of my friends gave me this. It wasn't a Christmas gift per se, since he said he said he was going to give it to me a month or two before Christmas, but I ended up getting it Christmas Day, so it sort of counts.

Arcana Heart 3 Love Max. I've heard if you can get past the nearly nude anime chicks it's a really good fighter. I've been meaning to check it out for a while.

I could probably find a way to get past that
