I received an e-mail from Gamestop stating that Frightful Fiesta will be an early release on the 20th.

Well I'm going for them... but probably not quite as fervently as I have the previous releases. Gonna have a hard time keepin' up with the Joneses this time 'round. Or, should I say, keepin' up with the Kisuragis.

I received an e-mail from Gamestop stating that Frightful Fiesta will be an early release on the 20th.

Meh, unless it's an exclusive variant, I can wait. And even then, I might not bite. Besides, Toys R Us is likely to have one of those buy-2-get-1-free deals going like they've done every launch day for the Skylanders games. That's the place to go to pick up your starting lineup at less than extortionate prices.

Is that North America, or elsewhere? I don't remember which year or series, but I recall a member of our Netherlands contingent acquiring and showing off a Skylanders starter set and figures he'd just picked up on launch day in that country...

...which was at least full day ahead of the stateside launch.
