If you haven't met her before, diedraneous is my wife. Feel free to say hi.

Over the next few days/weeks, she's going to be listing portions of our collection for sale. We recently received news that we're going to need to sell our house and downsize to a smaller place, and both need the money for a downpayment/staging the house for sale and the space, since we won't have an entire room to dedicate to the collection at our planned destination. We're not wholesale selling the entire collection yet, but the initial listings are going to be consoles and games that aren't in a desirable condition (e.g. stickers or rough box, or perhaps just missing the manual, inserts, or it's just loose) - we try to go for archival quality, and these just don't meet our standards. We've picked up a lot of random things over the years, and this was a long time coming. This is just the motivation we needed to pack it up and sell it.

Feel free to ask for particulars, as most of the collection is not listed in the collection tool. Nick - we'll get to the rental NES boxes, don't worry!
We also have a TON of hardware lying around the house, so don't hesitate to ask on that front.

Yeah, I have a fair number of duplicates and boxes that aren't in mint condition - mostly former rental boxes. Anything in particular you're looking for, or do you care about condition?

Also, I know we have Quest for the Rings and Conquest of the World for O^2. Still separating things out.

Just for a quick update, we put in our credit applications today and expect to hear back tomorrow. While we were there, we talked to one of the builder's front office staff, and they said our particular model house (the one we're selling) is in extremely large demand right now, and after doing some calculations we don't need a huge amount from our equity, so as long as the lawyers are willing to work with us, our credit hasn't taken a massive hit, and we can organize everything, we should be in a good spot.

If you have any duplicate common carts for O2 I have a friend who makes home-brews and is always looking for carts to be re-used for new games.

Just for a quick update, we put in our credit applications today and expect to hear back tomorrow. Have to go through a credit repair lawyer...which hopefully means in 30 days we will be good - also, we are probably going to have to use my credit But, we had good news as far as being able to get a loan in my name - all I have to do is make more than $40k to get my loan
