It took me a little longer than it should have but I finally achieved this today:

Just want to say thanks again to the collective powers that be for picking this game. I have always liked this series (Shining Force III throws me off with the 3D a little) and would love to have the "committee" choose another Shining Force sometime in the future.
I remember when I first played this game as a kid. I had made it maybe only halfway before discovering Shining Force II had recently came out at the time. I instantly moved on to SFII, and remember liking it as much as the first if not more. I never finished either game. Until today.

Very nice shaggy! Hope your enjoyment outweighed some of the frustration.

Oh yea, I definitely enjoyed it. I've played the Sega CD version. A lot of the frustrations are ironed out in future versions.

Thinking of playing Shining Force CD soon, as it follows the events of Shining Force somewhat (some of the same characters) whereas, Shining Force II is unrelated to the first game.
