I got my 3 and 5 year old hooked on the original Zelda!  It's a great day for the gaming community (or maybe not)!  They keep asking to play it.

You better pray the young'uns don't get caught up in Skylanders. But if they do, just know that I'm here for ya.

laugh We have Skylanders but there isn't too much interest yet.  Just wait until the Lego stuff comes out.  I'm thrilled they are into it as everyone knows the NES is the best still ever!

Until we discover Shaggy thought the CD-I Zeldas were the originals.

Then we call the authorities. Wink

My kids are still a little hesitant to grab the sticks and play, but really love holding controllers while watching me play. My daughter is an EXTREME perfectionist and gets angry if she can't do something on the first try. I'm working with her and hope to get her playing some SMB again soon. Kudos to you and your kids!

I must admit, I'm intrigued by the Lego release. I wanna see what they'll bring to the table in the gameplay innovation department. While Skylanders was the first success in "toys-to-life" video games, thanks to increasing competition and new gameplay gimmicks, ActiVision & Toys For Bob are really gonna hafta step up their game for Skylanders 5.

The oldest said today that he wants to have kids so he can show them how to play Zelda himself!

Wait... your kid wants kids of his own young'uns some day? But then he won't have nearly as much time to play Zelda! Sounds like he's got severe masochistic tendencies. You'd better get him committed ASAP, before he inflicts any more self-harm.

Remember and heed these wise words: "Children are our future... unless we stop them right now."
