It was produced by a third party (Power Inc), and I'm pretty sure it wasn't licensed by NES.  There's a few different chairs out there (so far I know of four different chairs:  Hot Seat, Simulator 1 Action Chair, Super Chair, and a Super Chair variant).  They're pretty tough to find to say the least.

My cousin had the Trash can.  He lived with us for a while because his mom moved and he still wanted to go to highschool here and gave it to me when he was going to college. My mom made me throw it in the big trash though, It was in nice condition.
