Maybe they know eachother and were just trying to purposely bid up the auction?

Highly doubt it, the guy that won those auctions has been buying loads of nes accessories in the last month or two, and almost always overpaying for them...obviously a guy with $$ who decided to rank up a nice nes accessory collection Wink

I couldn't agree more!!  Unless of course you find something that you know you may never see again (like a hands free controller or something)

I've also seen the pink one a few times, I've seen the pink and black ones NIP go for 10-15$ on eBay...I guess this buyer just wanted one badly Wink

I don't think it's that insane...the last Myriad on eBay was loose and it sold for at least 600-700 IIRC Wink

I think once the weather breaks and people start hitting yard sales and flea markets the prices usally go down..I just cant belive that cheetahmen 2 junmped from a average of 200 dollars to the last two sold for 700 dollars..Guess the winter months people spend more time on ebay

That could be true, although from what I've seen prices have almost steadily increased in the last year regardless of season...I'm sure it'll calm down sometime sooner or later, though...I don't think the NES hype will last forever Wink

Here are some more nice eBay items:

Looks like somebody else's ebay account. Not Speedy's....

Is that what the hands free normally goes for?
