Wow, makes me wish I could read German (at least I think that's German).  Those things look pretty cool.

Yea, it's German.  The seller wrote that he ordered those pins directly from a discontinued Sega magazine called "Gamers" back in the day for 65DM, which is about 35-40 dollars.  They are 2.5 inches tall, and 2 inches wide.

I keep being amazed at what some items are going for on European eBays...can't believe people would spend so much money on an item they could get cheaper elsewhere...a few days ago I posted a link to that loose size S power glove going for 150 euro (that's around 195 dollars)...and now these...a little less extreme but still:

http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBa...;item=5201400537&rd=1
http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBa...;item=5201399112&rd=1

That's a little over 50 dollars each.  I remember buying mine on the US eBay for no more than 10 dollars!

and here's an unusual auction for those that speak Dutch:
http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBa...;item=8194909676&rd=1
The guy is talking about the NES in the first person, rather than describing it...pretty funny approach Wink

and here's a nice, and possibly overpriced, G&W that you won't come across very often:
http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBa...25&fromMakeTrack=true

Here is one you don't see every day:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...;rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

It is for the Bung Doctor 64.  I have wanted one of these for a long time now, but just don't have the money to blow right now.  (Thanks, UC.)

I can't believe that guy had the nerve to yell at people that haven't bid yet.  What a dick.  I hope a bunch of people retract thier bids and this goes for $20.

Yea, I don't see what the guy was trying to accomplish with that.  Even though it isn't really offensive, he's not going to get these people to do something that will end up in them having to spend more money on it, just because he wants more money for it.  If he doesn't want people to wait until the last minute, he should've made a deal where the winning bidder gets a free N64 or something when their winning bid is not within the last 3 mins of the auction.

Toilet Kids for PC Engine.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...;item=8194980008&rd=1

I'm not sure if that is a fair price or not, but let me assure those who have not played it - Toilet Kids is one of the most bizarre games you will ever play.

This has got to be unusual.  There are TWO PC Engine LT's on eBay right now:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...;item=8195137699&rd=1

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eB...;item=8195226895&rd=1

It seems to me like I know the first seller from somewhere.  I recognize the vicviper username from somewhere, but I can't place it at the moment or what the guy's name is.....

....and a third post in a row too.  Mark will love it.

Wow that is pretty insane.
I just saw more pics of that system today than anywhere ever.

I can't believe the prices those are going for either.

Another one of mine. It's interesting for two reasons, one it's quite neat....

Two, I am selling it for the guy that runs the junk shop. About 18 months ago, I persuaded him to keep all retro games by just for me, and sell them to me, ever since  I told him that the Oric 1 he had thrown away was worth £50. Smiley

I get some good stuff from him, video games wise. Anyway, this a mobile phone I am selling for him.
