$27000 for a NWC cart that I have to re-assemble myself to play?! Surely he can screw it back together for only another 1K. That VGA case is kinda cool though.

I'm all for VGA grading and I think it would look fantastic if it was put together. But it looks ugly taken apart like that. Still thats a cool item there.

I think that case is pretty neat.  Don't know that I'd rather have that over one that is screwed together, though.  Still, I doubt I'll ever actually see a copy, let alone own one.

That is strange. I wouldn't buy all of those for 5 bucks.

Seeing the 2nd picture looks like they were all discs that were wrapped up but not packaged into cases. These could have easily been stolen from the manufacturing location or have some other issue. But I think they leaked out of the factory somehow.

AIWA Mega CD drool

I'd love one, but it's so expensive.

I don't suppose anyone has noticed this NWC on eBay?  http://www.ebay.com/itm/2..._trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I found it a few weeks ago and he's canceled it several times; I imagine due to people bidding for fun.

Where would they have come from?

Fell off the truck, i.e. stolen. 100% guaranteed. They're even in the original wrapping (atleast Super Bust a Move) from the printing factory before being put into boxes with the inserts and manuals. So technically they didn't even reach any truck or distribution, this is probably a disgruntled worker who just handed in his notice trying to steal whatever he could before he left.
