Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of a 40" Zenith flat screen CRT?

It's in the basement, and while I've had my fun with it I feel it that it is quite literally standing in the way of improving my gameroom.  I'd like to replace it with a more discrete (and better) 27" JVC convex CRT and perhaps build shelving around it.  Pretty much everything looks great on the Zenith (even Hydlide) but SNES and Genesis games look like poo.  Completely ruined my Outlander session today.

Goodwill takes them for recycling. Look to see if you have any services that pick up old electronics for recycling. Try a Craigslist post also

Goodwill doesn't accept them anymore, at least in my area.

Goodwill doesn't take them anyone more, only non-CRT's.

Mine still take them, but them E-cycle them. That means they are not re-selling them but sending them to an electronic recycling center
