Hola!

I'm going to finally go to Too Many Games this year, and was looking for some tips.
I've been to other conventions before and it seems like each has its own quirks.
Don't want to waste a day trying to figure the place out.
Also, should I bring cash or do most vendors accept plastic?

I've always wanted to go this but probably never will.

Pretty cool that Descendants of Erdrick will be playing there. I met their drummer when I was in Texas last year. Really nice guy.

It's kind of an acquired taste.

it was a good time overall. Not sure if I will make it back this year since there is Retro World in my own backyard and really trying to head to Portland Retro Gaming Expo

I plan on being there again this year. Yes, bring cash!

Now that I have a smartphone I have the rfgeneration app to use as a reference to see what games I have in my collection so I don't accidentally buy dupes.

The main draw for me is the marketplace. I'm usually done with the show in less than 2 hours.

They have discussion panels but I'm not interested in those.

They have another room set up for concerts.

There's also a snack bar where you can get drinks and hot food.

I'm excited for it. I've been to Comicons but never one for games. It's the weekend of my son's 7th birthday so I know he will be stoked. It's only like an hour and a half from me in NJ.

Are there any good thrift type stores out that way? I hear the Savers or Value Village names thrown out around here quite often but the nearest ones are in New York and they are all over 50 miles away. I can't think of any other names offhand.

Are you implying that I am a Microsoft fanboy or that we both have amazing radio voices?  Either way, I doubt the Major will be there.
