FWIW my total playtime without any side stuff was just under ten hours.
When I beat Firefly my story completion was at 83%, and I'd say there was about an hour and a half of game (main story) left after that.

Regarding the Most Wanted, the boss fights aren't as spectacular as the storyline fights (which is just as well because the main bosses felt a little too scripted at times despite being badass). Generally they are fairly basic fighters with higher HP and some skills, accompanied by goons.
Spoiler
(hover to show)
Anarky I found a little too hard when I first "unlocked" him- he's fairly easy on his own, but the fight comes in waves and he himself uses molotovs. Quick glue was very helpful.
Black Mask was fairly tough- he doesn't have many goons but there are some elites in there. Sionis himself is not the biggest threat. You will have the Shock Gloves by this point, so that makes things much easier. This fight annoyed me because the fight takes place immediately after a predator mission in the same environment, yet the vantage points and the grappling hook prompts are suddenly gone because the developers wanted this fight to be a straight out brawl.
Getting to Bird was considerably harder than fighting Bird- took the fool down with a gliding kick then spent the rest of the fight mopping up. Still, the run-down underground strip club was a nice setting.
The Mad Hatter barely constitutes a boss fight, but his level is this game's version of the Scarecrow visions. Controls and direction at times are a bit wierd but definitely worth doing.
Haven't beaten Deadshot yet. It's a predator mission, except Deadshot's ricochet ability will mean that you need to keep moving. Turns into a hostage rescue partway through so this is a time consuming side boss.
Also, regarding Bane
Spoiler
(hover to show)
I liked that he was portrayed more intelligently this time around. It was also a nice touch mentioning Venom's side effects as a way to explain why Bane is a mindless bruiser in Arkham Asylum, and his involvement with Project Titan a way to deal with Venom addiction.

My save file only says 16% and I just got to the Bane fight, which, according to a walkthrough, puts me at seven plot points before the end. Have you been going for collectables, upgrades, and radio towers?

There's a part of the menu options where you can see statistics and it will tell you story percentage completion, which is different from total completion. The screen capture below is from Arkham City but the screen looks exactly the same in Origins:

The first Bane fight is about halfway through the main campaign.

Beat Firefly. Going into the Penopticon now. I've put 12 and a half hours into the game so far. Seems like a long time, but I've been taking it slow with the stealth sections.

Nice! The final checkpoint is up, which is obviously to finish the main story and wrap up all your side stuff. Also acquire a copy of Tomb Raider.
Mike and Doug, how are you guys doing?

In all honesty, I wasn't pulled into this game right off, got Criminal Girls for Vita, and have put any free game time into that one instead.

Origins isn't as good as Asylum. Maybe it's the open world mechanic (which is very empty of life) vs the contained setting in the first game. It does a good job of showing how/why the Joker was sent to Arkham Asylum though.

I hate being the negative one here, but these next gen graphics aren't doing it for me. Everything, especially the characters, looks like polished leather.

I get where you're coming from- there's a bit of a disconnect between gritty reality and polished HD (most noticeable on human skin and water effects), but it still looks good. For starters, Gotham looks like people actually live there rather than just spawning thugs!

Oh, I wasn't complaining. I know that's the product of next gen graphics and it'll take some time for me to get used to it. Maybe they just made Gordon too wrinkly. But still, those graphics - so shiny! Agree with your point about Gotham City.
