Hey guys,

This was a Craigslist lot from last year (Jan 2014) that I missed out on.  The guy had it listed for $150 and he told me it sold for $100!

The lot included a Genesis, Sega CD Model 1 and 60-70 boxed Sega CD games.  (See attached pic)

I just wanted to share this with you guys.  I am still working on my Sega CD collection.

I never see this kind of thing on my local CL. The best I can hope for is a console, but rarely do I even see vintage games. whoever got that got a sweet deal, especially for a hundred. hopefully it wasn't a non-gamer/re-seller that got it.

Yes I agree the guy got a sweet deal.  Funny thing is Craigslist has pretty much dried up and its very difficult to get any kind of deal w/ retro games since everyone wants Ebay prices.  However, it looks like this was an exception.

Wow, it would have been awesome to grab that lot for $100.  Isn't that Snatcher in the lower left?

Yes that is Snatcher in the lower left corner of the 2nd row.

I wish I was a day earlier to get this lot.  I didn't price everything out, but I think there is about $1,000 in stuff here if you add up the games and 2 consoles that were included.

Snatcher, all 3 printings of Night Trap, 2 copies of Lawnmower Man...
That's unfortunate.

speaking of snatcher, I remember seeing a posting on eBay of blank Snatcher discs. they looked identical to the original from what I could tell, only there was no data on the bottom. it's really a shame that eBay doesn't give a f*ck about that stuff.

He also told me over the phone that he had a bunch of RPGs in the lot.

I know its hard to tell from the pictures but I am sure he had at least the Lunar games as well as Shining Force.

I know exactly how you feel.  Recently, someone on my local CL posted a loose Cheetahmen II for $100, only responding to emails.  I was the second person to email him and just missed out on it.  Sad  It's heartbreaking, and I'd imagine most of us have similar stories of that one deal that just got away.

Already read the thread before you mentioned it. On phone, or I'd post the link for Duke's benefit.
