Interesting...
"DVD Region Free" for the PS2 basically pretends to be Crazy Taxi.
All the files for the game (I assume they are) are on the disc, but filled with 0x00s.
Everything this does is contained in the main executable.

The instructions for the board game Ticket to Ride do this too, everything is "the player does this, and then he does this". I think it's pretty common in a lot of things and it's stupid, especially when "they" is perfectly acceptable as a neutral term.
