I got the following for my Birthday and X-Mas. I got money as well which I am saving up for a PS4.
Not Pictured is Playstation Store Card for $20 - I bought the Ivory King DLC content for Dark Souls II, the last one of the three that were released.
Farming Simulator is an Awesome game, I have been playing it non-stop since Christmas. The only problem I have is the damn Fork Lift has the most awkward controls. Other than that I couldn't be happier.
Under Defeat is fun, I used to play a burned copy on my Dreamcast but decided to ask for this one. Has this one been chosen yet for the Schmup Playthrough yet?
I played the others a little bit, and they all seem to be fun so far.
I got some non-gaming stuff as well, but i will try and post that to that specific thread soon.

I didn't know Under Defeat was put on on the PS3. Gotta find one now!

I got all this for Christmas, plus a few non-gaming items:

However, what made this the best Christmas EVER, was this...

I'd been trying hard for the last year to get the Secret Ending in Killer Instinct, which you get by beating the true final boss, who is harder to beat than Akuma in Street Fighter 2. I finally beat him, so I took that screenshot and posted it on Facebook and Tumblr. Happy Day!

Right off the bat, I'm kind of cheating here. I didn't get exactly all of these for Christmas, but I got some duplicate Blu Rays and games so I returned them and used the credit to buy games. So I technically didn't get about half of the games here for Christmas, but I did at the same time. Whatever, here they are:

In addition to that, we had Christmas for both my family and her family at our house. After everything was over, she surprised me with one last gift she was holding out on:

She got it from Craigslist so there wasn't any outer box, but everything is there. She's pretty awesome.

February? How is it February? January went by in a flash due to an exhausting stretch at work, and now I find myself having done the fine folks at RFGen a disservice, most of all my Secret Santa and jolly ol’ Swagnorch. Maybe I can’t make up for my tardiness, but I can at least give credit where credit is due at long last.
The only two retro gaming items waiting for me under the tree on Christmas were from RF Gen members. It made the holiday morning way more exciting as a collector as a bit of that old anticipation of what games awaited me returned..
First up, RF Gen Secret Santa!

My secret Santa was incredibly generous AND attentive to my letter. I couldn't ask for more. Here's the list of goodies, in case the picture is unclear.
Epyx500XJ for NES
Quickshot Flight Grip for NES
Naki Eliminators for the SNES and Genesis
NHLPA Hockey '93 (With a sticker endorsing the Mighty Ducks. Hmmmm…..)
Bases Loaded
Kung Fu
Tecmo Super Bowl
Bart Versus the Space Mutants
Jungle Hunt (2600)
Pac-Man (2600)
Combat (2600)
Cosmic Avenger (Colecovision)
From TV Animation One Piece: Mezase Kaizokuou! (Wonderswan)
How to Win at Nintendo Games #2 by Jeff Rovin
That is a bevy of gaming goodness no matter how you look at it. The two NES controllers are especially welcome, as I am a hardware freak. Sadly, both are a little small for my grotesque manhands, but that doesn’t mean I like them any less. The clicky-ness of the Epyx500XJ is very satisfying, and, despite its small size, I want desperately to find a game it’s suited for.

How to Win at Nintendo Games #2 was a serendipitous, “No way!” sort of moment. I have How to Win at Nintendo Games [#1]. I picked it up over a decade ago at a library book sale. receiving its sequel at of the blue now was great. the best part is that there was no way for my Secret Santa to know I had the first one. It’s a Christmas miracle!
The games are all greats from bygone ages (though, I did have a wry grin seeing {Pac-Man and Combat show up on my doorstep). My favorites were Tecmo Super Bowl and the Wonderswan One Piece game. Tecmo Super Bowl is a game I’ve been hunting down for some time, never willing to take a $20+ plunge on the game. Now it’s in my collection and I couldn’t be happier. The One Piece game is my first Wonderswan game. I picked up the handheld for a good price on ebay so I could play Crazy Climber for Wonderswan, but having another game is never a bad thing. Also, I’m something of a One Piece fan, so it was a joy to see it here.
Also, I didn’t own a Colecovision at Christmas time, but have since picked one up, so Cosmic Avenger (and my other Colecovision games) don’t have to languish on a forgotten cart pile.
Again, many, many thanks to my Secret Santa.
Now, then, I don’t mean to brag, but I was able to snag Zagnorch’s random box o’ games during his Not-So-Secret Santa. When the huge box arrived, I actually felt guilty. I live across the country from Z, so shipping couldn’t have been cheap. Despite that, greedy anticipation welled up in me as I imagined what might be in the large box. Come Christmas day, I couldn’t wait to dig in.
The first thing I found was a note from the man himself.

Huh, reminds me of the last note I got from Zag, which I will quote here:
"Tough break, get drunk on me. Use the bucket to ice down your marbles, Yours, Z."
After the note, we get to the heart of the matter.

Interestingly, the large box gave way to more boxes. Two of those boxes are the first games I’ve discovered, a Turbo board game (based on the exciting arcade game by Sega) and Personal Trainer Walking for the DS. I was actually somewhat excited to try out PTW, but the critical pedometer accessory is absent. More on Turbo in a bit.
Inside the small brown box was…

...a solitaire handheld, a teeny-tiny racing handheld, and Tetris DS. Nice.

Inside the wrapped box was a nice selection of Wii and PS2 games. Mario Kart Wii, Midway Arcade Treasures, and Armored Core are the real winners for me, here, though Mario & Sonic At the Olympic Games could be fun, as well.
Next, I stumbled upon something really unexpected. As I opened Turbo to see if all the pieces were inside (they were), I found MORE GAMES!

Madden 97, Super Monkey Ball Adventures, Tetris Plus, Ecco the Dolphin, Alien Syndrome (the UMD), and a mystery GBA game (Spoilers, it was a Yugioh game).
All in all a bumper crop from Zagnorch, for which he has my thanks.
That’s it. That’s my RF Gen Christmas over a month late. Until next time, I think I’ll spend some time going Turbo.

I'm really digging that Epyx 500xj. I got that for Christmas at the same time that I got my original NES.

Any suggestions on a game that works well with it?
I never had any other controllers than the two that came with my Action Set, so I like picking them up nowadays. Ironically, the Epyx would likely see more use if it was the VCS version.
