So what does RFG think of the KH franchise? Love it or hate it? Eagerly anticipating KH3?

I thought the first one was very entertaining and a pretty decent rpg. I didn't care as much for the second one. I'm not sure why

We played it back in February. You can read what people thought of the first game. I didn't like it very much though. I stopped during the Alice in Wonderland section.

I kind of had a love/hate with the first one, as you'll see in the thread posted above. Having said that I wouldn't mind revisiting the series via the second game or one of the handhelds as I understand the franchise improved as the games went on.

That's interesting, since I think most people prefer the second one.

I really, really disliked Kingdom Hearts when I tried to play it back when it first came out on the PS2.  I participated in the community playthrough back in February and got really into the game, so I guess I can say I'm a converted fan now.  I'm looking forward to the 2.5 Remix coming out next month and already have the CE pre-ordered.

I don't know that I made it through the second one in full (I can't remember the ending if I did), but I just got bored after a while. It just seemed like more of the same...which may simply be because I played the first one so much. I guess I just hoped for a somewhat different experience with the second one and didn't get that.

As far as my input goes, honestly, it's my favorite. I see it's flaws and all but I love it. I even love the portable games. They're pretty neat. Especially...358/2 Days.

Tried playing for the Community Playthrough, a few months back. Could not get into the game.

I have only played the first one and Chain of Memories on the GBA. Never finished the first one completely. I beat the story, but never finished all the side quests. Love the series though.

I enjoyed the first one when I played it years ago when it came out, but I haven't gone back to the series since then.

I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan.  I initially thought the first game was good but not great.  As I put more and more time into it, I really started to love it.  KHII is one of my favorite all time games.  Chain of Memories isn't great.  Birth by Sleep is fantastic, as is Dream Drop Distance.  Can't wait for II.5 HD Remix.  I wish it was cross play so I could play it away from home but PS3 works too.
