The front page of the site is now much more dynamic than it used to be.  You can now view recent forum topics, who is online, calendar dates, your personal messages, and more in real-time.  Additionally, you can see who is in the web chat and join the room directly from the front page of the site, without having to find the link at the bottom of the message board index.

You might not notice it, but another advantage to this is that it is PHP-free, meaning it is much more secure than much of the PHP you see on so many other sites on the web.

Pretty cool, isn't it?
