My first big finds of the year. Car boot.

It was a good day at the carboot. Sod all there retro wise, but I got there early, as the first stalls unpacked, and bought some stuff as soon as it was put out. One youth selling his dad's stuff, I bought some ps1 games from him, took my phone number, and said he'd phone about the commodores in the loft...... fingers cross
anyway, the swag;
Boxed Megadrive Mk2, very scruffy box, near mint inside, with FIFA 96, Road Rash, Megagames 1 just £3 !!
NES loose, James Bond Jnr £1.50
These PS1 games for £1 each, complete;
Rosco McQueen (ex rental)
Skullmonkeys
Chessmaster 2
Medievil
Dune
Colin McRae Rally 2
Motorhead
Kurushi
and these two froma different stall for £5
Oddworld Abes Oddysee
Star Wars Rebel Assualt 2
I needed all of those games for my collection too!
and an old boxed electronic toy from the late 70's by GT Action for 50pence;
Intercept
edit: Oh yeah,, and a slightly unusual atari compatible joystick. Boxed, made by Toshiba. 50pence.
I did so well, price wise, that I risked £25 on a lot of Star Wars and Star Trek roleplaying books, and reference books, to try to sell on eBay, as I bought the lot, they let me keep the holdall they were in, and it's quite a good one. I like to speculate"a few quid on ebay "stock" that I have a hunch about without knowing for sure, to me it's more fun than putting money on a horse.

this is a pic of mine from the Handheld Museum.
nice lot! I've been looking for Skullmonkeys and Medievil. I have found them a few times but always in rather nasty shape.

Skullmonkeys has a brilliant intro. Go watch it right away. And Medievil is very good too, although a bit short. Colin McRae is very very very good. Great game.

Yes den, that looks like the same one.
I will watch Skullmonkeys tonight.
Powderpuff Girls is a game with a great intro, but no fun to play.
Abes Odyssey has a good intro, but it's a good game too

the 2 Abe games for PS1 were both excellent. the Munch one they did for Xbox looked great but wasn't as original I thought.

epilogue:
From mrs.thx's finds, and my finds, I traded in all theMegadrive stuff, except Earth Worm Jim which I kept, along with a few common loose titles, and 3 loosed NHL 96 games (threw the cases away - there is a set price for loose games, higher than Id get for a boxed common!!!), a ps1 mem card, and an original gameboy for an instore credit note of £35 - this stuff cost me about £14
Now, last week, I could have got Zelda double screen game and watch, for £39.99, cos the kid on the counter, told me it had just came in, and wasn't out on display yet. Buy, since then, someone has priced it up to £59.99 PISS OFF! It's not worth that.
Anyway, I got with my credit;
SNES (loose) Super Ghouls and Ghosts
Megadrive (cib) Pac Panic (trade bait)
PS1 (all cib);
Monkey Hero
Pro Backgammon (this I will play lots! Been looking for a good backgammon game)
Devil Dice
Magical Drop 3
Yetisports Deluxe
Game Gear (loose)
Slider
Wonder Boy - the dungeon trap
