NES vs SEGA Clamshell
«

Ok, so this is a topic from a person on another Forum, he is planing on making a Nes case and a Replica of Segas clamshell case like a universal case for sega games. he wants to know which case he will make first so he made this poll for us to vote on which one we would like or need first.
he already made a GB/GBC/GBA case with the exact dimension and material as the DS case.
so feel free to vote and if you have any question he leave his email on the link of the poll, feel free to contact him.
http://kwiksurveys.com/s....sid=ur6g6yeljo1gwuy388030
if any of you are interest in the GB/GBC/GBA case i can post a link to the other forum where hi shows and took feedback to make that case and sended some exples to pleople on that forum to get feedback on the cases and now is on sale by him,
if that doesn't cause any problem here
, also he has a web page were hi promote and sell them too

I'd have more input if he posted what the NES cases looked like.

hi's still in the design of of both cases, Sega clamshell and nes. but hi first want to know which one hi's going to produce first.
i can link the page of the thread of the other forum where hi start collecting information from us and sending examples to try them to some people on that forum, that way you can see the process hi went from 0 to a finish case with the exact dimension, color and material as the DS cases but those are just for GB/GBC/GBA (if that doesn't cause any problem here). Or the link where hi started the thread for this poll (again if that doesn't couse any problem here)

You're welcome to cross-post whatever you'd like, as long as it's not to something that will negatively impact people (infected sites) or illegal.
We're fairly laid back here, and quite a few of our members are active on other sites/forums as well.

I would vote NES.
Stone Age Gamer is already trying to tie up that market:
http://www.stoneagegamer....bitbox-nes-game-case.html
and he's quickly moving on to SNES/SFC:

Not a fan of those BitBox cases. They look like the old, cheap computer software binders on the inside, though I like that they look like NGPC cases from the outside.

Now that you mention it they do look resemble the Mystique Atari cases:

i don't like the material of bit box, with time they start to brake in pieces. and are bigger that actual UGC, so bit box would need more space in shelves

I'm not a fan of BitBox. I suppose I would vote for NES since I don't need any SEGA cases, but there is no way I would say I would buy them without seeing them.

I know, after the voting ends I will decide which case he will make first, and after that hi will star designing and will start as he started with the GB/GBC/GBA cases, with a thread in the same forum and you'll, you'll see photos of the examples the company sends him, etc. If you like you can see how he do it in the link above for the Gameboy case.
Also I will keep updating with the link when he starts with any of this cases

Update on the poll, this is a copy paste from original post.
POLL STATS AS OF 7/10/2014 9:00AM (PST)
Total of 132 Votes!
SEGA Clamshells: 36.4%
NES Cases: 63.6%
Total Cases "called" for
SEGA Clamshells
LOW: 1939
HIGH: 5765
NES Cases
LOW: 4287
HIGH: 9431
(Again, I don't think the HIGH numbers really mean anything )
So today NES has the popular vote AND has the LOW + HIGH numbers.
I'm going to let this poll run for a few more hours.

I too am not a fan of bit box as shadow mentioned they look old I mean they look like the Atari cases but I think we all have had our share of Disney movies in these type cases as well and well they are bulky and just look terrible.
