I believe they all depend on which point you choose to finish the game (fight the final boss) and I know one of them requires beating the game a second time.

I'm in. The PS load times are around 7 seconds for just about everything, including starting and finishing a battle. It won't be so bad Wink

7 seconds sounds about what I would expect from an older disc-based game. I played a ton of old school stuff growing up, but Jr. high and high school were filled with the most hours, and those went mostly to games from the fifth and early sixth generation (my love for the Gamecube being born as well and my official start to collecting). I feel like it wouldn't be that bad for me, growing up playing games with extended load times regularly, but understand where you guys are coming from comparing the experience to the cart based versions where load times wouldn't be trouble.

So side quests are the impacting factor. I do love me some side quests. Smiley

Damn, I was TRYING to hide that there were multiple endings...

In any case, there's a new secret ending on the DS (and newer) vesions. Endings are based on how/when you finish the game. That's all I'll say to that aspect, but I would expect achievements based on which ending you earn. Speaking of which, I need to get off my ass and add achievement badges to the site! Along with about 80+ other things... Damn, I wish I worked on the site as my primary job rather than as an "as available" thing.

I popped the game in a couple days ago. Listened to the intro several times in the background before eventually turning the system off. Was going to get a head start but I can wait.

I can't guarantee how much time I can dedicate to the outstanding selection during the summer months but, considering that CT is my absolute favorite game (2nd place needed counseling), you can guarantee that I will be involved.  And my preferred way to enjoy Chrono Trigger will always be on the SNES.

Glad to hear that you're having fun with the game, Disposed Hero. I'm so excited to finally be able to play Chrono Trigger legitimately. The first time I played it was on an emulator at a friend's house.
