Happy birthday, archetype.  Though I am a bit late here, I did at least wish her a happy birthday on time in person.

Hopefully she'll check this and see that you kids noticed she turned 21.  (The drinking thing won't much matter for her either though.)

For all the ones I missed:
Happy birthday!!!

Also, I'm glad to see so many people who won't be drinking upon turning 21.  Let's hope it stays that way.

happy birthday archetype!

I vote for getting hammered! I don't understand you kids these days not wanted to get drunk.

though I can't say I've had any alcohol since the company christmas party so I'm not exactly the raging drunk our friend Sauza is.

For me, it's mainly to avoid alcoholism because it runs in my family, plus I have a very addictive personality.  I'd rather not take the risk.

And it's bad for you.  JEEZ HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW THAT!? Wink

Thank you for the birthday wishes. (I drank water all day with the exception of a coke for dinner). What a shame many of you might say. My reply would be, "look at the history of alcohol (why it is legal) and the effects, then try arguing in support of it."

....21 is a bit significant in the eyes of the American cultured drinkers (if that makes any sense). I find this birthday to be good in a few ways:

1. I save money on club/bar covers because I won't spend the extra cash on drinks, more specifically alcoholic ones.

2. I can legally access all bars and media, excluding renting a car without an added fee because us youngsters are irresponsible drivers.

3. I can feel young and not adult-like, but be looked at by others as an adult.

So thanks again for the wishes.

I used to drink alot but now that I'm getting married this year I don't quite so often.  I only drink about once every six month (or for you non-math majors that is about twice a year:)).

congrats on your upcoming marriage.

after a few years you will start having barbeques, barbeques and football parties including a barbeque....and along with it comes a beer here and there. then you'll have a nice beer gut to compliment the many batches of hotwings and six packs that you demolished. then you will enroll into a school that will guarantee you access to a DDR.  |D  Cheesy just kidding shaggy. Smiley

so far i'm 2 years into my marriage and haven't gained much weight.
