good idea! after the dashes, are those supposed to be where you're at right now or where you'd like to get to for a goal? because some say 100% and i wonder why they're still on a backlog list

I really don't keep a backlog. I'm the type of person who usually finishes a game to the end. If I don't like a game, I typically just put it down and don't return to it. I will say that one game I regret not finishing recently was "Fragile Dreams." My Wii kind of went out on me during that playthrough (actually found out later that it was just the outlet extension that failed). This is probably the only game that I would like to finish.

I like keeping a backlog list.  When I finish a game, I consult the list and it helps me get through things.  The hardest part is deciding not to finish a game.  I really try to give every game a fair shot but if it's not fun it's not fun.

Wow this thread is bonkers. Like Banana I try to only have one or two games going at once and play them to completion. Since I finished Suikoden last night I'm rolling Fire Emblem Awakening and Persona 4 Golden.

Now, if a backlog can also be considered to be games that I have and want to play, then the list would be almost endless.

i see it as games that are in progress, either currently or started and then stopped for whatever reason. agreed it would be a bit nuts if it was games that i want to play too, that could be my entire collection
