Front page is up. Also, I could've easily have told you about the Slik Stik. I've got like 5 of them at home. Sturdy, reliable controllers.

The Epix 500xj is my jam and what I played with. I love this controller. Underneath button, great stick movement, and sits well in the hand. The best imo:

I'm still a classic Wico guy myself, when I'm not using paddle controllers.

You prefer the bat to the ball top?

For most games, yes. It's something that changed in the last few years though. I drive a manual car and my grip has changed so that instead of palming it from the top, I'm used to shifting with the stick instead (Florida heat tends to prevent me from grabbing the metal top initially). That's why I've gravitated towards the bat style instead.

If you're familiar with these Activision titles, you should find it interesting. Our guest and I talk a good deal about our strategies for each game.

Great podcast guys! I really enjoy listening to these.
In response to the Magical Starsign light vs. dark magic comparison: After hearing you guys talk more about your experiences with light magic, I feel like I have more of an understanding of the differences between the two. You guys were saying that light magic was more of a healing/support role. Dark magic on the other hand is more of an all out attacker role. My main character was consistently in the front row as one of my strongest attackers. He didn't really have a healing spell like you guys mentioned, although he did have a spell to drain life from an enemy, but I never found it to be very effective.
However, even though the game does say that choosing dark magic will make the game more difficult, I didn't feel like that was the case at all. In fact, after listening to you guys talk about your experiences with the game, I would dare say that the game was easier for me. Maybe having stronger attacks outweighed the benefit of having a healing spell?

Thanks for the kind words and the follow-up on the dark magic portion of the game Disposed. It seems that there is a difference in the gameplay depending on which you choose, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to playthrough the game again to check it out. Glad you enjoyed the podcast!
